Govt working to establish rights of under privileged people

Mahbub Ali says at a function in Habiganj

State Minster for Civil Aviation and Tourism M Mahbub Ali on Sunday said that the present government is working to establish rights of poor and under privileged people of the society. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina the present government is continuously working to ensure all basic needs including education, medical and housing, he added. 

He said these while speaking as the chief guest at inaugural ceremony of a medical camp organised by Badardi village expatriates on the premises of Daimuddin Orphanage and Hafezia Madrasa at Nabiganj upazila in Habiganj. 

The state minister said, the present government with its Social Safety Net program stand besides the under privileged people of the country. In the meantime, to ensure medical and housing facilities the government has already established community clinic and other planning. Each community clinics are providing free medicine to them. 

With establishing equal opportunities and people rights, it is possible to bring expected peace and happiness in the society. The country is now on the highway of development. 

Develop country is not only a dream now, its now reality. We all have to work together to take our country forward- he added.   

He also urged the rich people of the society to stand besides the poor and under privileged people.  

The ceremony was also attended by Lawmaker Majid Khan, former lawmaker Amatul Kibria Keya Chowdhury Chairman of Habiganj District Council Dr Mushfique Hussain Chowdhury, Chairman of Nabiganj Upazila Fazlul Huq Chowdhury, Habiganj District’s Deputy Director (Local Government) Nurul Islam, Executive Officer of Nabiganj Upazila Rmakarta Touhid Bin Hassan, Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police Pervez Alam Chowdhury and other AL local leaders.
