The state minister for social welfare Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru said the present government is putting its best efforts to reach the proper healthcare services to the doorsteps of countrymen.
"The incumbent government, at the directives of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, has been working relentlessly to provide the proper and modern health care services to the countrymen," he said.
Khasru said this while inaugurating Mohammad Ruhul Kabir Khan community clinic at Tangga village under Netrakona sadar upazila yesterday.
The community clinic has been established on eight decimals of land at a cost of Tk 32 lakh under the supervision of Netrakona health engineering department.
Mohammad Ruhul Kabir Khan, a resident of the village Tangga, donated eight decimals of land for establishing the clinic.
Chaired by civil surgeon of Netrakona Dr. Mohammad Salim Mia, the function was addressed, among others, by chairman of Netrakona zila parishad Asit Kumar Sarker Sajal, superintendent Mohammad Foyaz Ahmed and chairman of Netrakona sadar upazila parishad Ataur Rahman Manik.
