The government has announced scholarships for 80,000 students from various technical education institutions, including secondary schools and colleges. The initiative aims to cover students from grade 6 up to those pursuing a 4-year diploma, extending through the 7th phase.

This decision was finalized during the recent central committee meeting on stipends, chaired by Aziz Taher Khan, the Director General of the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE). The meeting also included members of the concerned Central Committee on Stipends.

For the first time, a total of 76,789 students from eight regional offices across the country will benefit from this stipend program. The implementation of the DTE Stipend MIS Software will play a crucial role in the process. This software ensures the automatic verification of students' birth registration, and the national identity cards of their parents or guardians, and mobile financial services accounts, ensuring the quality and accuracy of the stipend distribution.

This initiative reflects the government's commitment to enhancing technical education and providing financial support to students,

paving the way for a more skilled and educated workforce in Bangladesh.
