Employees of Gopalganj municipality organises a sit-in programme in front of the National Press Club in the capital demanding to include their salary and allowances from the government treasury.
For three days, people of the municipality have been deprived from all kinds of citizen service.
Visiting the place, it is seen that all offices of the municipality are remained locked. No officials are seen there.
The victims cannot say when the municipal office will run in full swing. When the municipal activities will get speed.
The sufferers hope that the government will take an initiative and hold a meeting with the representative of the Municipal Employees’ Association to solve the problem.
