As per the government’s direction, Gopalganj district Awami League distributed food items on behalf of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina among 1200 poor people. On Tuesday, leaders of district level Awami League hands over the food items to the Upazila administrator at the administration office at Tungipara.
Gopalganj Awami League President and District Council Chairman freedom fighter Chowdhury Emdadul Haque, General Secretary Mahbub Ali Khan, senior vice-president Md Ruhul Amin Sheikh, Senior Vice President and Sadar Upazila Chairman freedom fighter Sheikh Lutfa Rahman Bachchu, District Relief and Social Welfare Secretary Sheikh Rakib, Publicity Secretary M Badrul Alam Badar, Tungipara Upazila Awami League president Sheikh Abul Bashar Khair, General Secretary Babul Sheikh, Upazila Chairman Mohammad Sulaiman Biswash, Pouro Awami League President Sheikh Saiful Islam were also present along with other leaders of the party.
