The World Mother’s Day is observed every second Sunday in May. Search engine giant Google celebrated the day with a new Mother’s Day Google Doodle.
Google honored mothers around the world on Mother's Day with a three-part, interactive Doodle featuring a duck and her ducklings. This year’s Doodle features some animated scenes of ducks taken under the wing of a mother duck, both metaphorically and literally. Each scene conveys a sweet and subtle message about motherhood.
Three buttons on the Doodle allow people to move among a series of lessons for life from a mother duck to her young offspring. She tries to teach her young
charges the proper way to waddle-- not without dealing with some challenges-- and that it is sometimes necessary to change direction. And when their plans go south, she welcomes them back to the fold.
