Good Neighbor Bangladesh distributes relief in Bochaganj

KOICA-GNB CHW Project, Good Neighbor Bangladesh Bochaganj took an initiative, with the help of the Upazila administration, to distributed food among corona affected 257 poor disabled, widows and elderly people in the 6th Rangaon Union of Bochanganj upazila on Sunday.

The distribution took place at Rangaon Union M Chandipur High School field where each of them received 8 kg of rice, 2 kg of pulses, 1 kg of sugar 1 kg of salt, 1 kg of Soybean oil. 

At this time, 6 No Rangaon Union Chairman Md. Anisur Rahman, Project Manager Mr. Cornelius Dalbat, Admin Officer Collins Biswas, Health Officer Abul Fattah and journalists were present. 

The project manager said in the context of the relief distribution: "This is the first step of the distribution of relief from the project on behalf of the Financial Assistance project of the Korea International Co-operation Agency, and the project has a future plan for the two unions in the region to deal with the food crisis”.

It is worth noting that the KOICA-GNB CHW project of GNB, in collaboration with the Korea International Co-operation Agency (KOICA), has been working at the Bochanganj Upazila of Dinajpur for the development of maternal and child health since 2019.
