Global Handwashing Day-2025 was celebrated on Wednesday at 11 AM at the Gurudaspur Upazila premises in Natore, with the theme "Be a Hero of Handwashing."
On this occasion, the Upazila Administration and the Department of Public Health Engineering organized a rally, a handwashing demonstration, and a discussion meeting.
The event was presided over by Assistant Commissioner (Land) Asadul Islam. The welcome address was delivered by Assistant Engineer of the Department of Public Health Engineering, Md. Ohiduzzaman.
Special guests included Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. A S M Alamash Ali, Secondary Education Officer Selim Akhtar, Agriculture Officer K. M Rafiul Islam, Upazila Engineer Milon Mia, Project Implementation Officer Aminur Rashid, Sonali Bank Manager Maniruzzaman Russell, SI Siraj, and Assistant Engineer Salma Khatun, among others.
Students from various educational institutions also participated in the event.
