A disabled girl was allegedly raped at Gani Shah Thollakandi Majar premises under Nabinagar upazila of Brahmanbaria district on Sunday night.
Police arrested two alleged rapists-Akkel Mia(22) son of Jamal Mia and Abdul Halim(65) son of Fuku Mia of the same village.
They have been sent to the jail hajat on Monday. Rina Begum, a relative of the victim, has filed a case with Nabinagar thana in this connection.
According to sources, the rape victim disabled girl has been staying with Rina Begum, a cleaner, at a shanty at the Majar premises for a long time. On Sunday midnight, those two alleged rapists entered inside the shanty and raped the girl.
Ruhul Amin, Officer-in-charge of Nabinagar police station informed the victim has been rescued and sent to Sadar Hospital for medical test and two arrested rapists have been sent to jail custody.
