Deputy Minister for Education Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel distributed gift items among over 100 disabled people at the initiative of Bangabandhu Youth-Student Union.

The gift items were distributed with the help of Khalilur Rahman Nahid, convener of Bangabandhu Youth-Student Unity Council and former VP of Islamia University College Students' Association, Islamia College Campus. Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel distributed the gifts as the chief guest on Sunday afternoon.

He said that considering the food crisis, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina announced a programme to reach the low-income people in their homes. Many have come forward in a personal and organizational way. Due to the corona virus, many people do not have jobs right now, so the general public can eat at least rice, pulses and even take life.

He advised the citizens not to leave the house without much need. He also requested to contact the health care center or hot line without being terrified if anyone was suffering from cold, cough or fever.
