Dr Barbel Kofler, Member of the German Parliament and Parliamentary State Secretary to the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) will be visiting Bangladesh from October 28 to November 2, 2022.
The State Secretary will hold meetings with ministers and high officials from the government as well as different stakeholders, visit projects that are supported by the German government and attend a 50-year ‘German-Bangladesh Development Cooperation’ event arranged by the German Embassy in Dhaka, said a press release on Friday.
This is the second visit of the Parliamentary State Secretary Dr Kofler to Bangladesh.
Md Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan, Ambassador of Bangladesh to Germany met Dr Kofler on October 10. During the meeting, he thanked her for the upcoming visit to Bangladesh and discussed issues related to bilateral business and ongoing development cooperation.
He was accompanied by Md Saiful Islam, Minister (Commercial), Bangladesh Embassy.
