Chris Gayle, is currently in Dhaka, where he has pledged to for Fortune Barishal in the Bangabandhu Bangladesh Premier League.
On Sunday morning, the West Indies legend arrived in Dhaka and had himself tested for Covid-19 before arriving into the team hotel. If the test results are negative, he will rejoin his Barishal teammates the next day.
Gayle may be past his prime and in the twilight of his career at 42 years old, but he remains franchise cricket’s biggest draw. The cricketer expressed his enthusiasm about his new team.
In a video massage, Gayle, the best T20 player of all time, congratulated his side on their victory in the first match.
