Gas supply has been suspended in Panchabati-Muktarapur area and its adjacent Narayanganj and Munshiganj districts after a gas pipeline was damaged during road construction work.
Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Limited announced the temporary suspension in a press release issued on Sunday.
The Titas Gas authorities said the gas pipeline was damaged during construction work on the Panchabati-Muktarapur flyover.
An emergency team is currently working to repair the pipeline leak, it said .
Titas Gas authorities expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to customers due to the temporary disruption.
