Gambler snaps tendons of shopkeeper

A gambler in Godagari has snapped tendons of both wrists of a shopkeeper at Matherpur area of the upazila on Tuesday night. 

Injured Ruhul Amin (45) has been admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital in a critical condition. 

Ruhul Amin said he is a grocer by profession and also works as a bkash agent. Recently, he made a transaction of Tk 235,000 through bkash and sent the money to one Rubel (33) of the area. But Rubel did not repay the money to him; rather on Tuesday night he stormed at his house and tried to kill him through stabbing him on the head and snapping tendons of the wrists of both hands. Abdul Hannan, brother of Ruhul Amin, has filed a case with Godagari police station in this connection on Wednesday.
