Journalist Forum in Rupganj organised a fruit festival at the upazila auditorium in Narayanganj on Tuesday.
Rupganj Journalists Forum President Nazmul Huda presided over the event and the event was moderated by journalist Joynal Abedin. Rupganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Saiful Islam was present as the chief guest. Jago News journalist Salauddin Jasim, Daily Janakantha senior reporter Israfil Farazi, Rupganj Press Club convener and Mohana TV Rupganj correspondent Chattar Ali Sohel, Rupganj Police Station OC (Investigation) Muktar Hossain and members of the Journalists Forum at various levels were present as special guests.
In his speech as the chief guest (UNO) Saiful Islam said that journalists are the mirror of society. Such events play a helpful role in improving social harmony and mutual relations. The administration will always support the positive initiatives of journalists. We are not limited to professional duties, but a sense of brotherhood and social bonds will be developed among journalists.
At the end of the program, a fruit feast is organized among journalists, where everyone enjoys different varieties of juicy seasonal fruits together.
