Freshers will become skilled, competent citizens: CU VC

 Chittagong University 2021-22 academic year 2021-22 academic year 1st year graduate (Honours) classes have started from Thursday with great enthusiasm.

 Chittagong University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Shireen Akhtar inaugurated the orientation program of CU History Department.  After that, the CU Vice-Chancellor periodically visited the orientation programs of various departments and institutes and greeted the students with flowers.  CU Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Professor Benu Kumar Dey, Deans of Departments, Directors of Institutes and Research Centres, Proctors and Assistant Proctors and teaching staff were present on the occasion.

  CU VC said, through a tough competitive admission test, fresh students have got an opportunity to get admission in the highest educational institutions of the country by crossing the small hurdle of school-college.  

It is a great joy and glory for them.  He called upon the students to utilize this opportunity properly to develop themselves as skilled and competent citizens by acquiring knowledge from the knowledge base of Chittagong University.
