A virtual freshers' reception ceremony of Anuprash, a voice and recitation related organisation of Comilla University, was held on Friday.
The programme was chaired by the president of the organisation Shanjida Islam and Tanvir Ahmed Khan played the part of anchor.
The teachers of the University also participated in the program as special guest. Associate Professor of English Md. Habibur Rahman, Assistant Professor of Anthropology N. M. Rabiul Awal Chowdhury, Assistant Professor Hasena Begum, Lecturer of Mass Communication and Journalism Kazi M. Anisul Islam and Founder President of Anupras Russell Mahmud were present there.
At that time, they have discussed the importance of students engagement in this type of organisation.The issue of not having an alternative to voice practice to achieve verbal excellence also came up through the speeches of the teachers.
