A colourful freshers’ reception, annual prize giving ceremony and cultural programme was held at Banophool Adibashi Green Heart College on Wednesday. Former Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University Prof Dr. A. K Azad Chowdhury was present at the ceremony as the chief guest with Chairman of the college governing body Buddhist monastic Ven. Prajnananda Mahathera in the chair.
Treasurer of the Banophool Adibashi Foundation Trust Real Dewan, teacher delegate Syed Nasir Afzal and Habiba Akhter were present in the ceremony as special guests. Principal Sudip Kumar Mandal delivered the embraceing speech and Vice principal Abdul Hai Majumder delivered the welcome speech.
Departmental heads, teachers and a large number of students, and guardians attended the colorful arrangements. Prof Dr. A. K Azad Chowdhury distributed crests and prizes among the winners in the prize giving ceremony phase. At the end of the ceremony a cultural function was organised by the Banophool adibashi green heart college students.
