A colourful football tournament between married and unmarried persons was inaugurated in Jhenaidah.
The inaugural ceremony was at Muktijoddha Mashiur Rahman High School Ground at Dhanharia-Chuadanga village in Jhenaidah on Friday morning.
Convener of Juba League’s Jhenaidah Sadar upazila unit Shah Mohammad Ibrahim Khalil Raja inaugurated the football event as chief guest.
Porahati union Juba League president Ikhtiar Uddin, Juba League leaders Ratan, Hamidul, Likhon, Sabur and a number of Chhatra League activists Shubho among others were present at the inaugural ceremony.
The chief guest presented a football for the game and provided financial support for the tournament.
