Mymensingh City Corporation (MCC) Mayor Ikramul Haque Titu on Wednesday organise a medical camp at city’s Veterinary Training Institute to provide free health treatment to 250 poor patients.
Ikramul Haque Titu, also Mymensingh city Awami League president, inaugurated the medical camp marking the National Mourning Day and 48th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.More than 250 patients across different age groups including men, women and children were provided treatment and necessary medicines free of cost during the medical camp.
Mayor Titu said that such initiative will continue in future to provide health care to the unprivileged citizens.
Councilor Asaduzzaman Babu, Selina Akter, VTI director Dr Jakir Hossain, Mymensingh Medical College Chhatra League president Anupom Saha, 1 Word Awami League president Hamidul Haque Liton, general secretary Emran Bongoraj were present ther among others.
