A day-long free medical camp held at Chougachha Government Primary School premises under sadar upazila in Narail on Friday. Free medicines were distributed to 1,400 patients in the free medical camp under the initiative of Victoria Specialized Hospital and Diagnostic Center.
Victoria Specialized Hospital Managing Director Dr. Deep Biswas Sudip said, “Our hospital has taken various initiatives to make the healthcare system in Narail humane and accessible.”
In continuation of this, a free medical camp was organized on the premises of Chougachha Government Primary School from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. In this free medical camp, about 14 hundred people received completely free medical services from specialist doctors. In addition, about 300 diabetic patients are provided with free insulin and more than 500 patients with free medicines every month from this Hospital, he added.
In this camp, free blood pressure, weight measurement, diabetes, blood group testing, eye problems, gynecological services, pediatrics, orthopedics and heart disease specialist doctors have been provided with advice. In addition, necessary medicines have been distributed free of cost to helpless and poor patients.
