Dhaka University’s Educational and Counseling Psychology Department, Bangladesh Educational and Counseling Psychology Society (BECPS), and EMDR Bangladesh Association are jointly offering free counseling services for Bailey Road blaze victims for the next three months.
On Thursday, Dr Md Azharul Islam, Chairman of Dhaka University’s Educational and Counseling Psychology Department and general secretary of the Bangladesh Educational and Counseling Psychology Society, confirmed announcement of the counseling services.
In a news release, he said that the victims of the pathetic fire blaze have the possibility of facing various mental traumas. Mental health counseling can give them permanent mental rest and reduce the risk of long-term health damage.

The patients have to come to Dhaka University’s Educational and Counseling Psychology Department physically. Apart from this, they can also get counseling services online.
