A delegation from FRC, ICMAB and ICAB led by FRC Chairman called on Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi on Wednesday at his office in the Secretariat.
They discussed matters related to the development of accounting profession in Bangladesh.
Minister patiently heard the delegation and committed to assist the FRC and professional accounting bodies for the sake of protecting public interest in Bangladesh.
FRC Chairman Dr. Md. Hamid Ullah Bhuyan, ICMAB President Md. Abdur Rahman Khan FCMA and ICAB President Md. Moniruzzaman FCA briefed the Minister regarding some professional issues and thanked the Minister for giving time from his extremely busy schedule.
