A mobile court fined four rice traders Tk 30, 000 at Munsigonj Bazaar under Alamdanga upazila in Chuadanga district on March 23 afternoon on charge of selling rice at high price.
Khokon Ali was fined Tk 15000, while Wahed Ali Tk. 8000, Biman Hossain at Tk 5000 and Hazrot Ali tk. 2000. They paid the fine on the spot.
Md. Liton Ali, UNO and Executive Magistrate of Alamdanga, conducted the mobile court. Rofi Ahmmed, Sub Inspector of Munsigonj Police Camp, Miazan Ali, Food officer of Alamdanga, Aminul Hoque Rokon, Chairman of Jehala Union Parishad, Hiralal and Anarul Hoque, Members of Jehala Union Parishad, were present during conducting the mobile court.
