Four drug peddlers held with yaba in Cox’s Bazar

 Four drug peddlers were arrested along with 30,000 pieces of yaba from Bhanga area of Sabrang Union in Teknaf Upazila of Cox’s Bazar on Wednesday. 

The arrestees are: Mohammad Khorshed, 27, son of lateAbdul Jalil of Nazir Para Village, Mohammad Zayed Ullah, 22, son of Late Mohammad Zayed Hossain of Korachipara, Mohammad Jobaer, 30, son of Mohammad Aiyub of Mohammad Harunur Rashid, 20, son of late Salam of the upazila. 

The members of Coast Guards caught them red-handed while smuggling yaba. In another drive, the coast guard members seized 850 grams of hemp in an abandoned position at Dakkhinpara of Saint Martin’s Island. Coast Guard East Zone Media Official Lt Shah Zia Rahman confirmed the matters.
