Four persons were arrested with drugs from Bhairab upazila of Kishoreganj. Members of RAB- 14 (CPC- 3) arrested with 57kg hemp from the Bhairabpur Nataler Moor under Bhairab upazila in Kishoreganj on Friday night.
The arrested were Salim Mia, son of Late Mon Mia of village Masaura under Bijoynagar upazila in Brahmanbaria district, Md. Kawsar Mia, son of Hossain Mia, Md Joy Mia, son of Anu Mia of Sarail upazila and Md. Nakbor Hossain, son of Late Tajul Islam of village Sabarbazar under Burichang.
Deputy Director of RAB- 14 (CPC- 3) Additional Police Super Rofiuddin Mohammad Jubayer said, Selim Mia, Kauser Mia and Joy Mia were detained along with 20 kg of hemp and 01 truck on the basis of secret information.
Later, another raid was carried
out at the same place and
Nekbar Hossain was arrested along with 37 kg of hemp, 01 covered van and Tk 4500 in cash for selling drugs.
A case under Narcotics Control Acts was field with Bhairab Model Police Station.
