30th founding anniversary of Department of Narcotics Control was held by placing wreath at the mural of Bangabandhu at the premises of DC office in Sherpur on Thursday.
Later, a rally led by Deputy Commissioner Anarkoli Mahabub was brought out from aforesaid area and ended the same place after rounded the town.
After that, a discussion meeting was held in the Auditorium of DC's office. Assistant-director of District Narcotics Control department Mashihur Rahman Sohel present the discussion while Additional District Magistrate Namita Rani Dey presided over the discussion and Deputy-director of District Social Service ATM Ziaul Islam was present as the chief guest.
At that time, Deputy-director of District Social Service Aminul Islam, Civil Surgeon Officer Dr Mobarak Hossain, district correspondent of BTV Debashish Bhattacharya along with other were also present.
