An 11-day long Foundation Training organised by Institutional Quality Assurance Cell for Assistant Professors of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology began at the Administrative Building of RUET on Sunday.
Presided over by Professor Dr Muhammad Abdul Ghaffar Khan, Director of IQAC, the programme was inaugurated by Professor Dr. Rafiqul Islam Sheikh, Vice-Chancellor of RUET as the chief guest.
He also inaugurated the workshop on the Contract of Annual Workplan.
Among others, the programme was attended and addressed by Registrar (In-Charge) Professor Dr. M. Selim Hossain as special guest, Dean of the Department of Civil Engineering Dr. NHM Kamruzzaman Sarker and Director Research and Extension Professor Dr. Faruk Hossain.
The programme was conducted by Additional Director of IQAC Professor Dr. Emdadul Haque. A total of 73 Assistant Professors of RUET are participating in the training.
