Minister for Liberation War Affairs AKM Mozammel Haque laid the foundation stone as the chief guest at the ground breaking ceremony of modern fire service and civil defense station in the area adjacent to Gazipur Bhogra Bypass.
The Director General of Fire Service Civil Defense Brigadier General Md. Sajjad Hossain was present on the occasion. The Deputy Commissioner of Gazipur District Tarkul Islam and the Chairman of Kapasia Upazila Parishad Alhaj Md. Amanat Hossain Khan were also present. This fire service and civil defense station was set up at the Gazipur Bhogra bypass in the city, keeping in view of the long-standing demand for a modern fire-fighting station in the industrial area of Gazipur.
As a result, it is hoped that the entire people of Gazipur would get an easy solution to the fire hazard.
