Mayor of Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) Md. Rezaul Karim Chowdhury laid the foundation stone of seven projects in one day in the city.

Tk 20 crores and 19 lakhs, the foundation stones of the projects laid on Tuesday are KEPZ Crossing Footoverbridge, Kathgarh Crossing Foot overbridges, Kathgarh Crossing Roundabout, Saltgola Crossing Roundabout, Cement Crossing Roundabout, Saltgola Crossing to Kathgarh Footpath (East Side), Kathgarh Crossing to Tunnel Crossing (East Side) construction.

CCC Mayor said, “We have progressed a lot in the way of arranging the communication system of the city.  Watering and lack of light are my main goals now.  Chattogram is moving towards becoming 'One City, Two Town'.”

Calling to be careful of rumours, the mayor said, the anti-independence people are spreading various rumours.  Even before the elections in 2008, there were many rumours.  But Sheikh Hasina came to power and rescued the enclave peacefully with superpowers like India, conquered the sea.  Children of poor families could not read due to lack of books.  Thanks to the welfare of Sheikh Hasina, everyone is getting the opportunity of education today.  People got free vaccination against Corona.

"Still, the conspirators are not stopping, rumours are now the main weapon of the anti-independence. They want to come to power by relying on America. It is no use. They can't stop the Padma bridge, they can't stop the tunnel, they can't stop the Awami League. Their dream of coming to power through the back door will never be fulfilled.  "

CCC Ward Councillor Abdul Barek presided over the meeting.  CCC Panel Mayor AfrozaKalam, Councilor Saleh Ahmed Chowdhury, Ziaul Haque Sumon, Shahanur Begum, Chief Engineer Rafiqul Islam Manik, Additional Chief Engineer Munirul Huda, Private Secretary to the Mayor Abul Hashem, Superintending Engineer Shahinul Islam, Executive Engineer Ashiqul Islam, Assistant EngineerMohaiminul Islam, Acting President of North Patenga Ward Awami League Md.
