All the candidates nominated for BGMEA Election-2021by Forum, the leading coalition of the country's garments manufacturers and exporters, took the oath to work selflessly for the advancement of the RMG industry. They took the oath at aneventnamed ‘Forum Panel Introduction’ organized at Radisson BluHotel in Capital on Sunday.
Hafiz Ahmed Mazumder; MP, Gazi Mohammad Shahnawaz, MP; former BGMEA President AnisurRahmanSinha; Forum President Anwar-ulAlamChowdhury Pervez and Chief Coordinator Benazir Ahmed along with garments manufacturers and exporters were present at the programme.
At this event, Forum formallyintroduced all the candidates, which is generally capped as a Panel. A.B.M. Shamsuddin, former Vice-President (Finance) of BGMEA, is leading the Forum Panel.Current BGMEA President Dr. RubanaHuq is also contesting the election as a panel member of Forum. If elected, the Panel, which includes both experienced and young entrepreneurs, will lead the RMG industry to the path of prosperity, according to the Forum.
