Former sr journalist of Daily Star dies of Covid-19

Abul Mansur Chowdhury, former chief assistant editor of The Daily Star died of Covid-19 early today at the age of 66.

He breathed his last while undergoing treatment at a Dhaka hospital at 1:20am today.

On July 18, Abul Mansur was diagnosed with Covid-19. He was on life support since July 26. Abul Mansur, who left behind his wife and three daughters to mourn his death, will be buried at his village home in Feni.

He started his journey with The Daily Star in 1991 and worked with the organisation sincerely for 25 years.
