A case has been filed against Khadizatul Anwar Sony, a former MP from reserved seat for women and organizing secretary of Chattogram North District Awami League; and 550 others.
The has been filed with Fatikchhari Police Station accusing 40 individuals by name and 550 unidentified individuals in connection with the attack on the anti-discrimination student movement.
A person named Kurban Ali, 24, filed this case.
Two former chairmen of Fatikchari Upazila Parishad, Hossain Mohammad Abu Taib and Nazim Uddin Muhuri; former mayor of Fatikchari Municipality, Ismail Hossain; Upazila Chhatra League presidnt Jamal Uddin and general secretary Raihan Rupu have been made accused in this case, among others.
Confirming the matter of the case, the officer in charge of Fatikchari police station Nur Ahmed said an accused has been arrested in this case.
