New Eid clothes and food were distributed among the government children (girls) in Raufabad and every disabled and helpless child living on Thursday afternoon under the management of Alhaj Mostafa-Hakim Welfare Foundation and the initiative of former CCC Mayor M Manzur Alam.
Former Mayor of Chattogram City Corporation and Executive Director of Alhaj Mostafa-Hakim Welfare Foundation M Manzur Alam was the chief guest on the occasion. Special guest was Nusrat Sultana, Divisional Director of Department of Social Services, Chattogram.
Speaking on the occasion, Manzur Alam said, "Our service activities have been continuing for a long time for the welfare of the disabled, destitute and helpless." Like every year, we have been distributing Eid clothes among the needy people in different areas of the city corporation. This kind of social service is the moral responsibility of all.
It's mentioned that for the convenience of the disabled and helpless, Manzur Alam built a modern kitchen in this institution with his own funds.
Principal of Mostafa-Hakim Degree College Mohammad Alamgir, Principal and Deputy Director of Government Institute for Mentally Handicapped Children Md. Abul Kasem, Teacher Nabir Khan, House Parents Enamul Haque were present on the occasion.
