Foreign Minister sends PPE for Sylhet hospitals

Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen has sent personal protective equipment (PPE) for the healthcare professionals in different hospitals of Sylhet district. The foreign ministry said he managed 750 PPEs from the Bangladesh Private Medical College Association and Walton to help doctors of his region to face the crisis due to coronavirus.

 Those donations include KN 95 mask, catsgory-3 teroid suit, surgical gloves, goggles, shoe cover and head gears. Those will be distributed to Sylhet Medical College Hospital, Shaheed Shamsuddin Hospital, Heart Foundation, Kidney  Foundation and Cardiac hospitals in Sylhet. 

Private Medical College Association president Mubin Khan and other representatives handed over those logistics to the foreign minister, a Member of Parliament from Sylhet-1 constituency, at Foreign Service Academy on Saturday.

The PPEs were sent to Sylhet Medical College Hospital, Shaheed Shamsuddin Hospital, Heart Foundation, Kidney Foundation and Cardiac hospitals in Sylhet. Momen hoped that Bangladesh will be able to win the battle against the pandemic with the support of all.
