National Nutrition Week has been observed in Kishoreganj Sadar with the slogan 'Think of nutrition when you think of food'.
On this occasion food items were distributed among the extremely poor families. The nutrition week was organized by Sadar Upazila Health Complex on Wednesday (April 29) morning.
During this time 10 kg rice, 5 kg potato, 1 kg pulses, 1 kg onion, 1 kg salt, 1 liter soybean oil, 1 soap items were distributed among 100 extremely poor families.
Kishoreganj Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Masud Al-Mamun, Sadar Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Tajrina Tayub, Sadar Upazila Vice-Chairman Abdus Satter and others officials were present at that time.
