Some non-government and voluntary organizations in Jhenidah have been playing role to stand by the people who became jobless and stranded at home due to novel corona virus for about two months.
Aftab Uddin Foundation, a voluntary organization in a remote Jhenidah village have also stood by the distressed people of Jhenidah when the people were feeling insecure due to global havoc.
The assistance was distributed among 350 poor and needy families on Saturday when they were facing severe crisis of food following the corona virus.
Bangladesh medical association (BMA) Jhenidah district unit general secretary and upazila health and family planning officer (UHFPO) in Shailkupa Dr. Rashed Al Mamun, founder of Aftab Uddin Foundation, also an ex student leader Alamgir Hossain among others remain present during the distribution programme.
Both h the organizers and recipients ensured safe social distance as a part of protect themselves from the possible infection of novel corona virus which made panic among the people in both rural and urban areas equally.
