Chuadanga Poura Awami League, Ward No.2 distributed rice and dal among 60 home staying workers of Shantipara and Dakkhin Haspatal Para in the district town on April 2.
‘It is a part of the ongoing government programme to provide the poor workers and people with food and other support to fight against coronavirus,’said Reajul Islam Joarder Toton, Joint Secretary of District Awami League at the food distribution program held at Dakkhin Haspatal Para in the town.
He further said, ‘As per the call of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina , we should abide by the rules of washing hands, using masks, and staying at home.’
Among others, Md. Alauddin, Correspondent of Bangladesh Post, Abul Kalam,General Secretary of Chuadanga Poura Awami League, Ward No.2 and Apiluddin Mollik, Upazila Education Officer addressed at the program. Awami League leaders Atiar Rahman, Azad Ali, Akram Hossain, Noorul Islam and Motiar Rahman were present at the program.
