Foil evil plot

The general elections held in our country on January 7 this year were free, fair, neutral and credible since 1975. However, some elements at home and abroad had carried out conspiracies and propaganda against the Awami League government and the country to foil the January 7 parliamentary polls.

The BNP-Jamaat in a nexus with anti-liberation and communal forces had done everything to foil the polls. But the most important aspect of the election is that people spontaneously went to polling stations and cast their votes.

They (conspirators) are still lurking to figure out how to stop the ongoing progress of Bangladesh and oust the elected government. The forces who suffered defeat in 1971 and the perpetrators of the 1975 massacre and also their collaborators are still hell-bent on avenging their defeat.

BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, convicted in several cases (in absentia) including that of the sensational August 21 grenade attack, staying in London, is maintaining constant communication with the high profile plotters. Tarique Rahman, also the elder son of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, now convicted in graft case, has been living in London for the last nine years.

Besides, the influential persons led by Tarique Rahman are also helping the organised evil forces comprising several vested quarters and extreme communal groups incited by the anti-liberation forces and killers of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, and their patrons in order to make Bangladesh a failed country. The latest US State Department report on alleged human rights violations in Bangladesh is like to be part of conspiracies hatched by some influential elements.

They (conspirators) are still

of Bangladesh and oust the

elected government

It is clear to all that the  BNP   has become desperate to “misguide” the country’s ordinary people again as the party’s political bankruptcy has been revealed. Some vested quarters led by BNP allegedly are now very active in plotting against the country and government as well.

When any political party fears about its existence, they tend to say things that make no sense. Since they have no public support and faith in democracy, they always prefer such types of ‘backdoor policies’ through conspiracies with support from plotters at home and abroad.

But it is an unpleasant truth that the conspiracy to undermine the independence and sovereignty of the country and to thwart the desire for economic emancipation has not stopped even today.

BNP in association with the anti-liberation force Jamaat-Shibir and some vested interest groups is hatching repeated deep-rooted conspiracies to create a fresh chaos in the country after the 12th national parliamentary elections.

It seems BNP still believes that like someone coming from outside will take the party to power through the cradle. Once upon a time, BNP could make it happen by acting as a broker (of foreigners).

But there is no scope left in Bangladesh to go to power through the acts of an agent. It is very tough for BNP to come to power soon due to the party’s corrupt leadership. They are isolated from the people and conspiring to fresh sabotage after the parliamentary election.

Besides, BNP had no representation in 10th parliament and the party’s all seven lawmakers in the 11th parliament had also resigned on December 9 in 2022. And the party has also no representation in 12th parliament The party’s long absence from parliament also made BNP isolated from the mass people.

Therefore, BNP is suffering from extreme frustration as the party leaders now can realize that boycotting the January 7 election was suicidal. So, it is clear to all that the evil forces led by the party (BNP) want to oust the government.
