Rangpur Metropolitan Police (RpMP) on Monday awarded its five personnel with crests, certificates and cash for professional excellence in discharging duties during last month.
Rangpur Metropolitan Police Commissioner Mohammad Abdul Alim Mahmud distributed the awards at the monthly crime assessment meeting for May-2022 held at his conference room in
the city.
He distributed the awards among the five police personnel for their exemplary performances in handling crimes and maintaining law and order in the metropolis last month.
The awarded police personnel are: Sub-inspector (SI) Komol Mohanta of Haragachh police station, SI Bibhuti Bhushan Roy of Tazhat police station, Assistant Sub-inspector (ASI) Rajib Roy of Haragachh police station, SI Md. Babul Islam of the Detective Branch (DB) of Police and Sergeant Md. Shah Alam Chowdhury of the Traffic (North) division of the RpMP.
After reviewing different criminal activities in the metropolis in May last, the RpMP Commissioner gave necessary directions to the police officials concerned for controlling crimes and maintaining law and order.
Additional Commissioner of the RpMP Mohidul Islam, its DC (Crimes) Abu Maruf Hossain, Additional Deputy Commissioners of Police, Assistant Commissioners of Police, Officers-in-Charge of all six police stations of the RpMP were present.
