The five-legged calf born a month ago at Ghuincha village of Sharishabari upazila in Jamalpur is in sound health and grazing normally to the surrounding areas.
Many people of the surrounding villages are visiting the house of the owner of the calf, Mahfuzur Rahman, a retired army officer at Ghuincha char village under Aona union of the upazila to have a look at the calf. The fifth leg emerged from the left-back of the calf is also growing normally with other four legs.
Mahfuzur Rahman informed a local breed of cow gave birth to the five-legged calf. He was worried at first thinking the calf will not survive but now one month is over, the calf is growing normally like other calves.
