The five-day military hardware display- 2024, organised on the occasion of the Independence and National Day at National Parade Ground in the capital, began on March 26 (Tuesday).
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, on March 24, inaugurated the combined display of the three forces. President Mohammed Shahabuddin also paid his visit to the display on March 25.
The exhibition with hardware of Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy and Bangladesh Air Force will be open for visitors from 10:00am to 4:00pm from 26 March to 30 March.
In total, there were 45 stalls and pavilions, each showcasing the contributions and bravery of the armed forces during the Liberation War in 1971.
Additionally, these stalls and pavilions displayed the armed forces' activities in nation-building since 1971, and their significant contributions to UN peacekeeping missions.
ISPR Director Lt Col Abu Hayder Mohammad Rasheluzzaman briefed journalists about the display at a press briefing on Wednesday.
Lt Col Mohmmad Hasibul Hasan of Bangladesh Army, Commander Abul Hasanat Modassher Ahmed of Bangladesh Navy, and Wing Commander Md Ehtashamul Haque of Bangladesh Air Force also spoke.
