Shahjalal University of Science and Technology(SUST) has started the admission process for the academic year 2021–22 undergraduate 1st year 1st semester after a long wait.
The program started on Monday (January 23) at 10 am on the ground floor of academic building A. On the first day, students came for admission to the science department in merit order 01 through 1650.
A student admitted in Computer Science and Engineering from the Faculty of Science named Sanjida Rashaid said, ‘it is good to be admitted into my favorite subject. I really want to study here. That dream has come true. I got help from everyone in the admission process.’
After searching for the admission fees of 13 universities in the cluster, it is known that SUST is taking admission from other universities at a relatively low fee. Among them Khulna University 17130/, Haji Danesh Science and Technology University 15875/, Barisal University, Noakhali University of Science and Technology 16000/, Chandpur Science and Technology University 15895/, Rangamati Science and Technology University 18900/, Gopalganj Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University 14000/, Dhaka Engineering University 15000/, Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam Science and Technology University University, Maulana Bhashani Science and Technology University 15000/ and Pabna Science and Technology University 15200/.
ember Secretary of Admission Committee 2021-22 Ishrat Ibn Ismail said that the complexity of admission has been reduced compared to before. The blood test is not a problem here. The admission process was going on smoothly throughout the day.
