First G100 summit in Bangladesh on Nov 21-22

G100, an empowered group of 100 visionary women leaders across the world who work for a gender equal future; is going to arrange a summit in Bangladesh. 

With the theme ‘Together We Thrive’, the G100’s first meet-up in Bangladesh is going to take place on November 21 and 22 in Dhaka.

A press conference was orgnaized at Dhaka Reporters Unity on Thursday (November 17) on the occasion of the summit. Speakers at the press conference informed details about the G100’s first summit in Bangladesh. 

On November 21, the summit will make commence with a networking lunch session with various ambassadors and exchange views on the matter of Healthcare and Wellness of Women. Later in evening, another panel discussion on Healthcare and Wellness will take place, where the global chairs and distinguished panel members of G100 will be sharing their insights. Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni will attend as the chief guest.  First day of the summit will end with a celebratory dinner and recognition of G100 members consisting of different thought leaders across the world. 

On November 22, the second day of the meet-up will begin with a meeting and discussion on Shastho Shurokkha Kormosuchi (SSK), which is the flagship project of Health Economics Unit of Bangladesh Govt. to ensure universal healthcare of marginal population. The summit will close with a gala night, where Planning Minister MA Mannan will attend as the chief guest. 

The gala night will also feature a panel discussion on the topic titled “Fostering Women’s Healthcare and Wellness for a Resilient Future”. 

Founder & President of G100 Dr. Harbin Arora Rai will also be attending WICCI Awards program during her visit at Bangladesh, which is part of the International Women Entrepreneurs’ Summit 2022 to be held on 23-24 November 2022.

Dr. Harbin Arora Rai initiated the journey of G100 and has been showing the path from front with the power of global chairs and denim clubs. Farzanah Chowdhury, MD & CEO of Green Delta Insurance Company Ltd., has recently been elected as the Global Chair of healthcare and wellness, which is one of the prominent sectors of G100.
