First case of coronavirus was found in Santhia in Pabna. The patient was identified as Kamal Hossain. He is the son of Moinal Mondol of Choitrohati Village under Ataikula Union.
Dr Abdullah Al Mamun, Upazila ealth Complex Cfficer, said that they sent his samples to Rajshahi Medical College on Saturday 26th April, On Wednesday evening the result came out positive.
SM Jamal UNO Sathia Upazila said that as soon as he heard the news he marked the village red flagged and instructed to lock down until further notice. The locals said that Kamal used to work in a brick kiln in Faridpur. He returned from there 14 days ago. It needs to mention that till now 23 persons were examined for corona virus.
