A fire broke out at Kismat Bidi factory in Sirajganj district. Factory officials stated that product worth crores of Tk have been lost due to the fire.
The fire broke out on Friday morning. Upon receiving the news, three units of fire service from Sirajganj, Kamarkhand and Belkuchi reached the spot and brought the fire under control in two hours.
Ataur Rahman, station officer of Sirajganj Fire Service, told Bangladesh Post that the fire was initially thought to have started in the morning due to an electrical short circuit. Gradually the fire spread and spread around.
Upon receiving the news, the fire service brought three units under control in a two-hour effort. Md Hossain, owner of Kismat Bidi Factory, told Bangladesh Post that he has lost more than Tk 1 crore in the fire. The current situation is normal.
