Meanwhile, the administration has not released any specific details about what kind of facilities and facilities are available for students around the convocation. The students said that the convocation fee was too high. Convocation fee has been fixed at Taka 3550 for undergraduate degree holders and Taka 5045 for undergraduate as well as postgraduate (two degrees).

It is reported that many graduates are not applying for the convocation over the fee and convention speaker issues. The application period ends on November 30.

University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Emran Kabir Chowdhury said, ‘I am still not sure whether the convention is, the convention speaker later. We need around 3 crore to organize the convocation. I am not sure where it will come from. In an interview last month, I proposed to the Honorable Finance Minister to be the convention speaker.

He has not confirmed anything yet. However, we will inform the convention speaker on time.’
