The final application for the admission test of 20 public universities will start from September 1.
The decision was taken at a virtual meeting of the vice-chancellors of these universities on Saturday night.
Students who have passed the preliminary list will be able to make a final application by September 7 by depositing Tk 1,200 through mobile banking.
One lakh 31 thousand students will get the opportunity to apply from the primary merit list of the science department. If they do not apply within the first seven days, the second and third merit list will be published. Second and third merit list students will have three days to apply for the final.
However, every student applying for the basic humanities and commerce application can make a final application.
Convener of the technical committee of the cluster admission test and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Munaj Ahmed Noor said that more than three lakh students have applied for admission in these 20 universities in cluster system.
When asked when the results of the preliminary application would be released, he informed that they will sit in the technical committee and decide whether to post the results on the website or send via SMS.
He further said that since the result has been passed, the Vice-Chancellor of Jagannath University can publish it if he wants, since he has the result.
The Vice Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University said that there is a plan to take admission test in the presence of students in October.
