A documentary film on the life and works of journalist Abdul Gaffar Choudhury, the noted lyricist of the famous song ‘Amar Bhaier Rokte Rangano Ekushey February’, has been premiered in Dhaka. Documentary film maker Masud Karim made the 30-minute film titled ‘Ekusher Gitikar’. He said he shot the film at the residence of Choudhury in London.
The screening of the premier was held at the Lazz Convention Center in West Panthapath on Tuesday. Essayist Rabeya Khatun, National Professor Anissuzaman, Prof Borhan Uddin Khan Jahangir, Indian actress Soumitra Chattopadhyay, and poet Asad Chowdhury were interviewed in the documentary, among others.
