Shahadat Hossain, a field worker of New Era Foundation (a private organisation) was missing for the last eight days from Ishwardi. He was missing from 2nd February from Dhulti Branch while he went to collect instalment. He did not contacted his family too.
Two cases have been filed with Ishwardi Police Station in this connection by New Era Foundation and Shahadat’s family. According to foundation, like every day, on 2nd February he went to customers’ places to collect instalment from Dhulti office. He collected Tk1, 62,495 from the customers. But he didn't return to office.
Area manager of New Era foundation, Golam Mawla filed a case with Ishwardi Police Station on that day. Assistant director (programme) of New Era foundation Shamsher Ali said, a general diary was filed with Ishwardi Police Station about Shahadat's missing. He was carrying Tk1, 62,495 with him while he was missing.
